Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge

Katrina Hodge was born and grew up in Tunbridge Wells Kent. Nick named "Combat Barbie" Katrina is a soldier ranked "Lance Corporal"  in the Adjutant Generals Corps and has been in the army for 6 years. "I feel that Im very determined , strong minded and career focused woman and I`m keen to promote this to the youth of today. I want to show them if you set your mind to something , that nothing is impossible! I am extremely passionate about promoting the forces as I dont think as a country we give them enough support and its now my mission to promote this!"

Katrina first entered Miss England in 2008 and came 4th in the competition. "For two years I dreamt of being Miss England, so I entered the Miss Everymodel Magazine contest and won! I got to star on the front cover of the magazine and did a fashion shoot along with taking part in Miss England 2009." Katrina was placed 2nd at the London Hilton Metropole in July, but on November 5th 2009 things dramatically changed! Whilst at her army barracks Katrina received a phone call from the organisers to say the winner had stepped down and was offered the Miss England 09 title and a place in Miss World. With less than 24 hours notice to prepare, Katrina rose to the challenge and jetted off to South Africa for the 59th Miss World final. Since Miss England 2009 , Katrina has become a model for La Senza appearing on posters in shops accross the UK and has become the Face of www.uniformdating.com
